Metty The Artist - Beret

Patchworked preloved and discarded t-shirts to create this beret. T-shirts were chosen and cut into strips, creating a textural striped beret. This item may come with wear and imperfections due to their preloved t-shirt history. Features of the beret include a soft headband. Repurposed beret is one size. Wear the Repuposed t-shirt and shorts for an edgy and comfortable repurposed look.

Damaged and discarded jeans. Cut into squares, sewntogether to create a patchwork fabric. Damaged and discarded T-shirts. Cut into strips and sewn together again to create a textural striped jersey. 

Metty recommends a gentle hand wash for your garments with soft/delicate detergents. Hand
washing will keep your garments as close to their original condition as possible. 
Not recommended by the designer however if you choose to machine wash, make sure to use
a delicate cycle with soft/delicate detergents. Place garments inside a garment bag or
pillowcase when washing.  
Patchwork garments are finished with raw edges and designed to fray with wear. Machine
washing will give your garment a more frayed look.
Hang in the shade to dry.
Make sure buttons, zips and other fixtures are fastened when washing. 
Store your garments in a dark wardrobe and avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
